Heartbroken:(

Marsha just called very upset and wanted you to please pray for them. She is feeling so heartbroken right now. She is just leaving a county social office where she brought the baby to a visitation meeting with dad. Dad did show up and mom went to court today to let them know she wants the baby to go to a family friend. Apparently they all got together (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) and decided they wanted a family friend to have her. Marsha is going to drive home to tell her kids and try to pull it together before she gets there.

Please lift the Patick family up in prayer as Marsha and the rest of the family are and will be so heartbroken. May the Lord comfort them as only He knows how. I am so sad that I don't know what to say except that we love the Patick family so much and were feeling so joyful that Sage was going to be theirs. Marsha has no idea at this time what the court/judge will decide but it doesn't look like little Sage will be staying....

That is so sad. Why does a woman who gave birth to a meth positive child have any say in her future?

I am praying for peace for this family. God is still in the business of performing miracles, so I pray that His will be done at this time. God knows what is best for Sage and I pray that He will intervene at this time and Sage will be able to remain with her new family.

I am so sorry to hear this. If it doesn't work out for them then that just means that God has other plans for them. I will pray for them:)

I'm so terribly sorry to hear this.
My cousin is going through a similar situation, they had officially adopted their son, and had him for 8 months before the family of the birth mother decided that they'd like to adopt him instead. They're still in court, we'll find out this month whether or not they get to keep him.

I'll be praying for marsha's family, I cant imagine what they must be feeling.

Oh no! :( That is so sad. I can't imagine how upset they must be. I will be praying that the birth family will see that Baby Sage belongs in a stable home with Marsha and her family.
Hugs and prayers,
Heather

Oh man, this breaks my heart! Praying for a hedge of protection around sweet sage. And conviction on the families part. I'm sure it's scarry for them to let her go ...(at least the g.ma, the moms far too selfish now to make any rational decisions) but I'm praying she gets to keep sage and if anything have a chance to share jesus with this family... Gods ways are higher than ours.
