Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

We called up all soldiers of God to help us celebrate Landen's 4th birthday.
Noble Knights and Fair Ladies were invited for feasting and festivities to honor the 4th season of his noble birth.
We held the party at Sir Landen's castle.

Ladies wore their gowns and knights made their armor.

Landen made me dress like a princess.

Lady Finley

half princess/half knight

Me trying to give a lesson to the kids

medieval time menu and grape juice out of goblets

making their shields of faith. (they all put what was important to them)

lots of new toys but the foil was still the favorite thing to play with:)

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13

I was a servant to this little warrior ALL day! Starting at 6am he woke up and ran in my room yelling, "Say Happy Birthday to meeeeee" (I woke up,with a sleepy voice said, yes sir!"
Then it was off to the donut store so "only" he could get a donut while the poor other kids had to eat healthy smoothies with flax seed LOL....
He even ordered us all around on what we had to wear. We love our little warrior but glad his birthday is over!

Landen with his new scooter! He's such a fun kid:)

That is just the kind of parties we have around here. It is always the simple things like aluminum foil that are the big hits, too! Who wouldn't want to wrap themselves in foil!? All the little details like "goblets" and the Shield of faith realyy make it fun, but is all exhausting, too. I hope you are resting some after the parties are over.. if they are over. I can't remember if this is the last one. For your sake I hope there is a break in sight for you! ;) All the lords and ladies look dashing!
