Ice Skating...

Last night after Landen's hockey lesson we all laced our skates up and went skating.

Farrah kept saying, "I skate! I skate!"

Farrah wanted to go faster...faster mommy. So I put her on my hip and skated around really fast. She would giggle!

(MY HUSBAND)and Finley watching all of us. Don't worry by the time Finley can walk she has skates already waiting for her:)

After skating around with all the kids...Mom cut loose. SHOW-OFF!

Sweet Finley Hope

My sweet little Finley Hope turned 6 months old today. She is so quiet and calm and I thank God everyday for her. I took her out back for a little photo shoot...
I know I'm her mommy but isn't she precious!

My angel baby...

She liked playing baby moses.

You Know Your Not Thinking Straight...

When you send your kids to the dog park wearing these

Give me a break, these were bought before the whole Vick, dog trial..We now sport the new quarterback for the Falcons...RYAN:)

Oh and while I was making some banana bread (that no one would eat) last night so we could have some breakfast this morning I was thinking.... Megan and Jenna (who are both awesome cooks) are both blogging now wouldn't it be great if we could get their mom Lora(who is beyond awesome at everything she makes) to blog (recipes) hint hint!!!
Then maybe my kids would eat the food I cook. HELP!

We Got Passports.......

and are ready to travel the world!

Yesterday we visited Cuba.
Faith always traveling in style...
Austin brought back a famous Havana cigar. (I think that is what he's doing with the licorice?)

Then we worked on our vegetable garden.

The boys had fun racing around...

Wordless Wednesday

Farrah, Farrah on the wall, who's the fairest of them all...

Girls Night In

The boys were gone camping over the weekend so it gave us girls some time to hang out and do girly stuff...
What's a girls night without Chocolate!!!
Finley's first taste of chocolate...

Look at her suck that....

From the look on her face I'm guessing she likes it???? What do ya think??

Some other pictures I took over the weekend. I love these outfits. I love the shabby chic print. Actually they were handed down to me when Faith was a baby from my friend Kadi. They use to both be her daughter Marlies. They are from Gymboree and Kadi bought them 10 years ago. She must of liked the print so much she bought them in size 3-6months and 24months. Faith wore both outfits and now I can have both my girls wear them matching....and they have held up so good! Gotta love Gymboree!!!and cute "hand me downs!"
I just realized their shoes and sweaters are "hand me downs" from Michelle
Gotta love friends who know how to shop and then pass it down:)
Who wants dibbs on my girls clothes and shoes next???

I am a recovering.....

People Pleaser!
Hi My name is Bridget and I'm a Blogaholic and recovering people pleaser. LOL

My mom and I had a two hour drive yesterday which left us with time to talk. She said something that stuck in my head. Be a God Pleaser not a people pleaser. I have worried all my life about pleasing people. Worried about what other people will think or say about me. Well, as I am getting older I am trying to concentrate on pleasing God and not others.

“I really don’t care what people think anymore.” I am not saying that to be rude, disrespectful, crude, cocky… but God is blessing me with the spiritual gift of “I really don’t care what people think!” This does not mean that I am not compassionate, loving, caring, considerate, thoughtful, or appreciative. As a matter of fact it’s quite the contrary. My decision making comes from a source, other than peoples opinion! I really think that has to be the case for all of us.

The bottom line is that we need to seek to please God and quit worrying about pleasing people. We need to examine our thoughts, feelings, motives and behaviors; as well as placing God’s desires together with our personal desires before others approval. I am not certain that “People Pleasers” are pleasing God, just people!

I never was going to have more than 2 children, homeschool or preach about Jesus on a blog because I was afraid of not pleasing ya' all...

Are you, or do you know a “People Pleaser?” What are your thoughts, feelings and perspectives about people pleasing? You can be honest and can say what you mean, because “I really don’t care what you think!” Posting this in Love!

Sunday Funday

I'll make this quick because the boys have been gone camping for the weekend and us girls have been partying it up! So we better pick up before they now how much fun we really had!
Then I'm off to buy some Lattisse!
Some of you know the story of how when I was pregnant I went and got eyelash extentions. Well....about a week after ALL my real eyelashes fell out! There I am 200lbs with bald lids...CUTE! My husband just laughed at me. I guess that's what I get for being so vain. Well a new drug just came out that makes your eyelashes grow. I will have lashes like a giraffe in no time. Better yet, I think I'll pass knowing me it will make my eyebrows fall out or grow hair other places than my eyelashes. I'll just stick to my short stubby ones and pray they grow back on their own.

Oh, and you might of noticed my new header. I hope your appreciate it! All you mom's out there know how hard it is to get a group shot.
We were on our way to take Landen to preschool and we had about 10 minutes to spare. So, the kids and I set the camera up and took a few pictures. All I asked was for them to just look at the camera and smile. Funny thing is the one that I ended up using was Austin's idea. He said, "Mom, no ones sitting still lets just do one of us running." So, there we are! I love that shot!
Here's the other ones we took:

I'm sure he was about to smile with his other cheeks here....

Me with my eyes shut..nice

Me yelling at Landen to stop making faces...

Opps..Austin your heads cut off again.

This would of been cute but Faith's not looking...

Forget it.....trying to make everyone sit still and look at the camera was a joke. This is more like us anyways...Always on the run:)

Tag I'm It

I have been tagged by one of my best friends Megan Our mom's were friends in high school and they were pregnant together with us :) Were only a month and a half apart. We lived next door to each other and were in the same Kindergarten class. Ahhh...Memories!Love you Meg! Ok, I'm getting off the subject. Anyway she tagged me to do a photo meme. Here are the rules:
*Open your photos, choose the 6th folder and then the 6th photo in that folder.
*Post the photo with a description about it and tag 6 friends to do the same

This is a picture of Faith 2 years ago. It was her 100th day of school. She was in Kindergarten here...and yes she wore a shirt (see we have always been nerds) and yes, she does have 100 braids in her hair!

Love how Faith is making a 100 with her mouth open, finger up and fist...Isn't she cute!

Here's the 7th picture just to show you I did 100 braids...Yes, I make everything difficult. I couldn't just send her to school, I had to wake up early and do 100 braids and make her a t-shirt with 100 hearts on it.....My middle name is difficult! Or clumsy?? Actually it's Ann but difficult or clumsy seem to fit me better.

Off the subject:

Has anyone read : Lies Women Believe And the Truth that Sets them Free ????
By: Nancy Leigh DeMoss
I just started reading it and I'm afraid to say my kids were neglected all day because I couldn't put it down.
I recommend this book to every woman who seeks the will of God. Nancy tells it to you straight!

I have to say so far this book has made me really think and I can tell it will be life altering for me. There are topics that some people aren't ready to accept & others that are hard to swallow. I not only HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, I am thinking of doing a study on it. Anyone interested???
I love what the author says:
If you are not ready to be the woman that God designed you for, you are not ready for this book.

Good night everyone and have a good weekend...I'm off to finish my book:)

Dude Your Homeschools Showing Part 2

And you thought the tye-dye puffy paint shirts at the pumpkin patch were nerdy. Think again! We went to Chick-Fil-A on a field trip dressed as cows. Holy Cow! Has this women lost her mind. Yep!I know, were nerds and if you haven't figured that out by now this post will show you just how nerdy we really are. We don't care though we love being nerds and have fun doing nerdy things together. It was "udder insanity" on my part. I even put an old Halloween costume to use on Finley.
See look how nerdy I am trying to use all these cow words LOL.

The Herd

The kids had fun making their shirts.
I challenged Faith that if she could correct the spelling on the sign
"Eat Mor Chikin" I'd buy everyone ice cream. But, because we weren't "too chicken" to show up in cow shirts they gave us all free ice cream!

The kids on the tour to see how the restaurant runs.

As if people weren't already staring at us Landen had to rap about Chick, chick , chicken.

Landen ran around all day like this...MOOOOOO!

I enjoyed the day with all my little cows! After lunch we stopped by the pasture(park) to run around.
And before the grandmas call and chew me out for not having socks on Finley or jackets on any of the kids in the rain. It was 70 degress! I got it handled:)

This baby calf loves to swing.

Oh, no mommy it's starting to rain...

We all ran to the car but first stopped for a quick race down the hill!
Who cares if they get dirty remember their wearing those nerdy cow shirts.

and for those of you who are wondering if I dressed up like a cow...ummm No. I'm nursing and already feel like a cow at times. I don't need to wear the outfit thank you!
