Real Life.......

with 7 on the road + a dog....

If we only had room for a camera crew...

this would make some great reality tv!

I thought I'd post some pictures of everyday life on the road......

Welcome aboard....watch where you step the kids have made tents.

We have been in some pretty cold weather...

but it doesn't seem to bother the kids. So I let them get out and help dad:)

There is so much to see out our windows....such a beautiful country.

So many different ways of life.

We drive though all kinds of different towns.....some sad:(

While in Baltimore there was so many homeless people. (They have the highest foreclosure rate)

And it's dropping into single digits at night. We will be doing a beanie and blanket drive at church to help them out.

We only watch tv when we are parked (if we are not out on an adventure) We have no video games on board. So it's books, educational dvd's or audio books. Because remember kids, we are in school.

Sometimes Mommy wishes she could crawl up in there and hide.

we blog and email family and friends....

Daddy is always on call....

When it's a business call we all have to be quiet.

We write our daily verses up...

and pray daily as a family for God's guidance and protection.

we do laundry on board.....

but once a week we do the big stuff like blankets at a laundry mat in town.

We make our meals together...

even homemade apple pie

When we are on bumpy roads......we buckle up!

so we have no more trips to the ER!

(oh, and we always have bedhead!)

After being on the road 2 months...

Mommy finally got the courage to get behind the wheel (of this 38ft +towing a car)

She even gave the hand signal to honk at the other truckers!
