with 7 on the road + a dog....
If we only had room for a camera crew...
this would make some great reality tv!
I thought I'd post some pictures of everyday life on the road......
Welcome aboard....watch where you step the kids have made tents.

but it doesn't seem to bother the kids. So I let them get out and help dad:)
We only watch tv when we are parked (if we are not out on an adventure) We have no video games on board. So it's books, educational dvd's or audio books. Because remember kids, we are in school.
hide and seek....
So many different ways of life.
We drive though all kinds of different towns.....some sad:(
While in Baltimore there was so many homeless people. (They have the highest foreclosure rate)
And it's dropping into single digits at night. We will be doing a beanie and blanket drive at church to help them out.

hide and seek....
Sometimes Mommy wishes she could crawl up in there and hide.
we blog and email family and friends....

When it's a business call we all have to be quiet.
and pray daily as a family for God's guidance and protection.
we do laundry on board.....
but once a week we do the big stuff like blankets at a laundry mat in town.

It sounds like so much fun... I am one of the crazy that would just love all of that... not that you all are crazy:) Praying for the Lord to continue to bless your trip and protect you all.

Love it! Fun to see the day-to-day "stuff".
Way to go ... drive that rig. I drive a 20' van pulling a 20' trailer. And, my last road trip (in Sept. / Oct. ) was 7,300 miles without a 2nd driver.
Hugs!
mama of many
I get so excited when I see posts from you. :) Be safe and God bless.
VERY COOL! FUN TIMES!
Love that post! And if you had a camera crew with you guys that would be so awesome!
Love this inside look. I have been wondering where you keep your schooling stuff and how you do it all. Thanks to you we just "reinforced" what we are learning today by reading your last post. Savannah thinks you all are the coolest thing ever now! Funny thing... at lunch I thought of you and your Amish post when Savannah told me she wanted to live a life with horses for transportation and no cars. She honestly said she would rather live that way... but she still wants her DS, etc. Hmm... can't have it all. Really, she could live without her DS (she only plays once every two weeks). Kids really do prefer simplicity, I think... I think they get tired of all the craziness more than we do. All they really need is Momma and Daddy... like what you all are doing! ;)
Fun, thanks for sharing the day to day & pics from the rig! And you go girl, I would never have the courage to drive something that big!
