I would love to see you do a post on what a typical day looks like INSIDE your RV. LIke do you have a washer and dryer in there? Do you have a schedule for school? How do you plan your meals while on the road? Yes, I'm wierd. But I would like to know how you manage everything and everyone and looks so darn cute doing it!!!
I think it is so neat reading about your adventure.Oh and how did you save up for this? Are you getting money from a tree in the middle of NO where??? LOL

How on Earth do you finance such a lifestyle? It would be awesome to do, but I don't know how you do it.

I am sure you probably said these things pre trip:) but I didn't follow then:) How long are you going to be traveling? Is your husband working from the road or how did he get away from a job for so long? Do you have any real schedule for where you are going, or are you just flying by the seat of your RV?:)

Briget, I think it is awesome... my family did a 5 week vacation one summer while my hubby was in the seminary, just our minivan, tent and 4 kids... Wow, we had our moments, (it was quite croweded) but we have some of the best memories ever from that trip... Enjoy it all!:)

Hi Bridget! I am really enjoying your documentation of your trip :) It is clear that you are having fun and making priceless memories for your kids and family.

Here's my question:

How is the world are you able to afford paying for all of the gas you must surely be using?!? I think our savings would have been plum out by now! I know you save on nightly housing costs, though, so maybe it balances out???

You don't really have to answer that question. But every time I see somebody driving a big RV, I wonder about that. I remember going with my dad to some RV places and hearing that they only took maybe 8-12 miles per gallon!!!

Hugs and blessings, Susan

How do you carry all the stuff for homeschooling on the RV?

We are seriously praying and thinking about going fulltime on the road for a couple of years. We are feeling like 2011 is the time for our family. We work in children's minsitry and would take speaking and training on the road. I am wondering what sort of budget you have in allowing you to live this lifestyle? We have 5 boys, so your story intrigues us.

I would like to know from each of them... What has been your favorite place so far??

I have a few...:)

*How much longer do you plan on traveling?

*Have you been able to find good churches, along the way?

*Are the majority of your friends and family supporting your decision to "road school"?

(By the way, you're living my dream!:))

I have TONS OF QUESTIONS!!! Mostly logistical in nature (because I'm a mom, of course!) Are you buying all these winter clothes as you need them or did you pack them all with you? I'm assuming packing for all kinds of possible weather across so many months and miles for seven people takes up a lot of room. Where do you put it all? What about school supplies? I read in one of your posts you have 200 books on board AND you have pictures of crafts, etc.... Are you keeping Walmart in business or did you pack all that ahead of time too? Where are you putting all this stuff? Motorhomes aren't THAT spacious! How often are you having to go grocery shopping? How big is the fridge space? How often do eat out? Does the dog ever poop in the motorhome? (Again, just quesitons from a mom!) You mentioned you do smaller laundry on board....WHERE? When you were parked for five days at the campground all by yourself, did you just do school for five days? After doing so much stuff so regularly, were you bored or did you need some down time? What about showers? Fresh water on board? I'd just love to know how it all works each day!? You mentioned you're hoping to visit all 50 states.....what about Alaska and Hawaii? I know you can obviously drive to AK, but it's waaaaaaay north. Can you tell I've been thinking about all this for a while?! :-) Can't wait to hear all about it! Love, Marsha

I have noticed Austin wears braces. How do you take care of his appointments and all his braces care on the road. Have ya'll stopped the procedure till ya'll get back to Californa or what? I have always been curious about how you would handle that situation. Also wear on RV do the kids sleep, in an earlier post we saw the parent's bed and Finley and Farrah's bed/crib (?) but no one elses... does the couch pull out or something??? I am sorry that these questions are random, I have just always thought about these questions when I thought about living on the road with children.

How far out is your trip planned? Do you have goals of where to be by the end of each month? Do you plan to visit all the states?

Adorable pictures. Love the last one.

Are you coming back to New England? There are lots of great things to see here! Maybe you didn't mention on your blog if you went to some of the states...but if not, please come back and visit us New Englanders. There is a lot of history here.

If you didn't own a home and didn't have a mortgage and utilities, etc., anyone could afford to live in and RV...think about it!

Lot's of interesting questions...here's the one that keeps popping in my head...you've got to have the most flexible/obedient kids ever?! Do they just go with the flow? Are bedtimes difficult? Are the little girls good at napping wherever?? (I saw the pics of them both napping in strollers...amazing, my kids never would do that!)Do ya'll homeschool through a charter school or other Christian school? If so, are you having to "check in" at all while you're on the road? Thanks for sharing your life with us, it's soo fun to follow your journey!

It's been lots of fun keeping up with your family's travels! I'm sooo looking forward to reading your answers on all these questions! Here are some more... What did you do with your other car? Has it been hard to manage the business from afar? Did you have to hire someone new to fill in for your husband? What's the best food you've eaten so far on your trip? Do you ever consider flying home yourself, or with a couple of the kids, for a quick visit and then back out to the RV? Especially when your sister has her baby?
It's so awesome your family has been able to do this! Such amazing memories! May God continue to keep you all safe wherever you travel. =]
