Last Day of School

Yesterday was our last day of school. We are taking a summer break and will start again in September. Whooo hoooo! Our last day of school ended with a letter to the president. The kids practiced writing in their best handwriting and proper letter format. Austin, asked a few questions concerning world hunger and gas prices. Faith on the other hand asked if the white house has a pool as well as a fountain. She was trying to get her daddy business. We finished our history time line and bible poster of the names of Jesus. I can't believe we did it! We made it through our first year of homeschooling, my kids actually learned, and I haven't totally lost my mind yet! This called for a celebration, daddy took us all out to dinner followed by dessert :)
