The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House (LLRMH) is a “home-away-from-home” for families with children undergoing treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.

The kids and I volunteered at the house Thursday night. It was a breakfast for dinner theme and we also had activities for the (children) of the families staying at the house.
It was a pot luck style dinner. We brought two egg dishes, some fruit, muffins and OJ. We also made some flowers for the tables. (from our garden of course!)
It was such a blessing to serve these poor families. I can't imagine having a sick baby and still have to worry about what to make for dinner or anything else for that matter. I would just want to be by my sick baby. My prayers go out to all these families. I thank God for my own kids health everyday!

Austin and Faith were in charge of crafts...

The siblings were very shy and sad...we finally got this cute little girl to smile after making a crown and told her she was a princess!

We get to bless the families at The Ronald McDonald House once a month.

And our poor puppy is being neglected and not getting enough attention.......can you tell?

and just some snap shots I had to share...
time to bring out the sun hats!
I bought these for Faith 7yrs ago...nice to see them getting plenty of use!

and this is what happens when you tell your 3 yr old to go get dressed....hey gotta show off the tat's right! and the boots those are just too cool and even cooler when their on the wrong feet...gotta love it!

and some relaxing time by the pool....

they love listening to big brother play and sing worship songs....

cheers!!!!!!

The tickle monster......

I Thank the Lord for my wild healthy kids!

Oh, and the puppy still does not have a name.....
We've been too busy playing to think of one.

Your children are very beautiful. That puppy is WAY cute. My daughter says to name it Belle or Maggie.

As a mom who's been on the otherside of the door so to speak, I can tell you I'm sure it's a blessing. Our oldest daughter had AML leukemia and we lived at the RMH (in DC) for 2 months when we first transferred to Walter Reed from Germany and then again during her bone marrow trasplant (she was treated at Children's National which is just down the road from the RMH) we didn't want to be 30 minutes to 1 hr from the hospital (who ever did not spend the night) it was far more convient and peace to the heart to only be 5 minutes down the road.

God Bless

I love spending time at RMH I havnet gone in 10+ years. That is really great. I love that your kids care, most kids are too spoiled that they think they "Dont have to" do anything for anyone else.

As for the puppy are you staying with the f names? if so then...
Foxy? LOL that was the one I picked off the girl dog name list.
Fawna-sleeping beauty
Flora-sleeping beauty
Filia-means friendship

I dont know I stayed with the fs but I grew up owning a dog kennel so trust me I can give you dog names lol Let me know if you have another letter, I obviously stink at the Fs

She looks like a "Lola". She is SOOO super cute, I hope she turns into one of those big bear looking goldens. They are so cuddly.

I gotta agree with Loni - you've gotta stick with an "F" name:)
