My house is clean....and no I did not pack up all the kids and take them to the park. Then have a maid come and clean the house for me. I wish! I cleaned with all the kids home. How? I sat them in front of the t.v. watching Prima Princessa.
And no I do not feel guilty because this video rocks!
The kids all learned something new and had fun doing it! over and over again!
I am very fortunate to have been able to do a review for an awesome DVD made entirely by two stay at home moms.
And YOU are very fortunate because the creators of Prima Princessa are generously offering a DVD to one of my readers!!!
If you have a daughter, chances are she likes ballet. Or like mine just loves to get all dressed up in a tutu and dance around all over the house.
Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake is a wonderful DVD for young and old, or anyone aspiring to be a princess or fairy ballerina.
Your child will learn about the theater and see a real ballet and be introduced to the basic ballet moves along with learning a little more about this wonderful dance form.
Faith my 7 year old has been enrolled in ballet classes and has learned more from watching this DVD than all the money I've spent on lessons.
If your daughter is currently taking dance this video just adds to it. It's great practice. Your little princess will play this over and over. It is very educational but not boring! I loved the fact that the filmmakers did an awesome job of shortening the ballet just enough to keep the interest of the children. The story of Swan Lake is narrated by Prima Princessa, a fun cartoon ballerina. In between acts are live action demos of ballet steps demonstrated by kids from New York City Ballet's School of American Ballet, mixed with contagiously adorable pre-schoolers dancing in tutus. This will be sure to get your little ones up and dancing.
In between scrubbing toilets I heard giggles and enjoyed watching my daughters twirl around the living room.
Even my son Landen age 3 was twirling around the living room, minus the tutu of course!
My son Austin age 9 actually was watching it although he won't admit to it. He enjoyed the nature parts. It isn't just your normal girly movie. It inspires and stimulates young minds. This enchanting approach to learning about classical ballet through nature, toys, music and laughter will mesmerize children and parents alike. For example it will tell the kids what pirouette is and have the spelling below. Then tell you what pirouette means in french. The movie then shows ballerinas demonstrating the moves. All of my kids had fun watching it even the boys shhh...but don't tell them I told you.
Children will love this wonderful dance DVD. This DVD makes a great gift for little girls and maybe some little boys too !
Did I mention this video is ranked #1 on amazon.com for best children's ballet DVD! I'm telling you these mom's know what there doing..why, because they are mom's of many and know what kids like first hand.

This comment has nothing to with the DVD. I am sorta new to blogging and have been watching your blog for a couple of months now. Anyway, I do not know why I have not "followed" you, yet... instead I look at your blog through my "bookmarks". Anyway, I saw that you have 99 "followers". Well, we can just not have that!!! So now you have 100 !!! Wow! You must be in awe of having that many readers. What a testimony in itself!! By the way, your post about the person asking you why you homeschool is what got me (and that you are a Christian)!!! I loved it! I guess you know that others were blogging about it and linking back to you. You reached the masses with that one. Anyway, congrats on having 100 "followers". ;)
