Letting your 4 yr old watch your 2 yr old so you can get some packing done! Not smart! Farrah is now sporting a new layered haircut and a nice full leg tattoo.
Well, your four year old is as responsible as my husband!! LOL! My husband knowingly left Sahara in a room with my other three doing art!! Two year old with scissors for art = haircut for infant sister! Brilliant!
And I thought I was a bad mother for letting my 6 yr old wipe my 3 yr old's bottom tonight! Just kidding, it makes me feel so much better that I'm not the only mom who has those moments! I love that instead of freaking out like I would have you thought to grab the camera.
i know it stinks, but hey, it happens to the best and the worst of us :O) i think the very worst of these moments for me was when I left my boys together (then 3 and 8 years old) in their room with the door shut. I thought they would go on playing legos for at least a half hour. when it got eerily quiet, i had to go and investigate.
and what did i find?
the bottom bunk's twin sized mattress folded/bent completely in half! my geniuses... sigh... yes. i immediately told them that if they didn't bend it back to perfection i'd get rid of their beds altogether - and then stormed out (i had to get out of there before i lost it completely)! for a couple of hours (seriously) they worked on getting it flat again (and it still has a bit of a bump). but, of course, i told them it was perfect (they tried so hard, how could i not feel sorry for them???) and that i would allow them to keep their beds. they felt triumphant.
but, by God's amazing grace, i am already able to laugh about this. boys. there's nothing like them in all of the world :O)
She just already has her own personal individuality. She may want to do hair like someone I know someday. I just hope she outgrows the tattoo part. It looks fine on Kat VanD, but....please Farrah, stick with the hair designs!! Your just so cute how you are!!! :)
Oh no! She'll just have to get a weave or something until it all grows back out. One of my girls got into a large container of Vaseline when they were little and had a very slicked back hairdo for almost a week. MMM - not so pretty.
i love it! i have my almost four year old watch my two year old more often than i probably should, this reminds me to keep scissors and markers out of reach!
i'm de-lurking myself and just wanted to say how much I enjoy your blog! thanks for sharing you life and beautiful family. God Bless!
Ha! I have a few pics like this myself. My middle girl is known for getting into things QUICKLY and she is very sneaky that one! We can laugh about all her moments now! And I am sure she isn't done dishing them out either! LOL!

Meet our family, we call ourselves the "Road Schooling Ryan's." We know how fast kids grow up and we want to make the most of these precious years with them. We gave up living in a traditional house to travel the US with them. We are making memories that we will remember for a lifetime. We are so excited to "roadschool" and know that we will all learn so much on this adventure. We are excited to see what God has planned for our family. We have been to 38 states and have helped out in organizations like, Save Our National Parks, Safe Haven Family Shelter, Sower Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, and Passport in time, which helps preserve history around the US and much more. We started our trip on Nov. 23rd 2009..... With 5 kids and a dog living in an RV traveling to many places...Let's just say, I could write a book but I'll blog for now. Enjoy!
We made it home safe after traveling to 38 states and over 20,000 miles in 1o months. We are enjoying this new season in life. Here's to a new adventure!
