Today

Outside my window...
I see this baby relaxing and making funny faces

I am thinking...
that this summer is going by way too fast. How is it July already?

I am thankful...
I have this strong young man to help me open and fix things when dad's at work

From the kitchen...
I call them all to come in for lunch

I am creating...
fun summer memories

I am going....
to buy Landen trunks that fit.

I am hoping...
this little guy doesn't squirt me

I am hearing...
Landen talking to the dog

Around the house....
I have babies in diapers with messy hair

One of my favorite things....
is to just hang out and have a lazy summer day with the kids in the backyard

A few plans for the rest of the week..
to have more fun in the sun!!!

I would love to hear about your today!

Your day was way more fun than mine. I had to grocery shop. The storm we had last week took out my power for days, and I needed to fill the freezers again. But atleast I like to shop, even if it's for groceries. :)

oh man, that looks like fun! :) We got up ...way too early, ate breakfast, i did laundry, we went to the shops in chino hills to run around the fountains and get pinkberry, we ended up running into a few friends then left there after about an hour and a half to raid the community pool by our house-- we hadn't tried it yet... it was so fun! :) We are tired, just ate , i feel like a little kid around summer time-- i remember the water-logged, sunburnt, tired eye feeling. It was a good day! :) We need to join our crew together soon! :)

Caleb started making that same face that Finley is making yesterday. Today I made Chocolate Chip Orange Zucchini bread (I have tons of garden zucchini that I have been trying to use up). Caleb and I played outside in the early morning (He is already completely in love with dirt and rocks). We went for a walk. We had lunch with Grandma and Uncle. Did some cleaning and playing inside while listening to Ken Ham address to the Nation (good stuff by the way). Your day looked like lots of fun.

Lovin the funny faces...Finley is sportin:) "today" We also went swimming. We are a lucky bunch to live in So.Cal and have his super sunny weather. We probably will all eventually get skin cancer, but nothing beats a day by the pool with your kids and their smiling happy offwhite sunscreened faces, and how hard they sleep after a day in the sun.

Summer is great! We have been enjoying backyard fun too. Although our pool is much smaller! lol Kids still love it.

Our days lately have been filled with longing to go to a pool, but disappointment as it rains, yet again. It has been an interesting summer here in the Northeast, thus far!

As always, I am enjoying the flexibility of most summer days to just do...whatever with the kids: basketball, visits to the library, spending time with family and friends. thanks for sharing your day!

Okay Bridget, I have the same number of kids as you and I DON'T go to the gym! My kids are my workout! Nor could I ever find the TIME. And can't see it worth going if I have to take ALL of them! Please tell me you have a sitter or daddy is with them while you go do your thing real quick. Then daddy goes to work, right? Stop making me look so bad!
