We Need More Christians!

I joke with friends (Ro, you know) that I'm having a lot of kids to out number the Muslims but in reality us Christians need to wake up...
Thanks Jen for sending this.

Islam will overwhelm Christendom unless Christians recognize the demographic realities, begin reproducing again, and share the gospel with Muslims.

Please shut Rod up so you can hear this video..it's a must!

This is a real eye opener. Did no one see this coming or maybe we all thought that we don’t need to do our part. Let someone else go to church on Sunday and support our religion and then make fun of them all week. Well Muslims all stick together and are not ashamed to worship many times a day in front of God, their friends and enemies. Think about it.
Remember in my origianl "crazy" post how I put that if Christian would allow God to decide on the number of children they would have, how quickly we could evangelize the world. Unfortunately we have bought into the lies that society has sold us!

I would love to post this on my blog...not familiar enough with all of this to know how to do it. I have family members that view my blog, and need to see this threatening info. Thanks for taking the time to post this stuff. I know that you have many people who view your blog, and are impacted by all that you have to say. God is using you...i am sure you already know that! ;o) Thanks again...;o)

Thank you for sharing this. I hope it's ok that I'm going to place this on my blog (and will be linking back to you).

I normally love your postings, but I'm a little confused by this one... I certainly understand anyone's desire to preserve their religion, especially in a world that is becoming increasingly secular, but are you saying you think the entire world should be converted to Christianity? That honestly frightens me a bit, if so...

Hi there!
I'm Christian. I just want to understand your post a little better. Do you think the whole world should be converted to Christianity? I am just wondering. Because thoughts like this are the reason 9/11 happened.

Either way, I too wish that more Christians would stand up for their religion!!!

Geez..glad I contributed 3 kids to this world..but I better go get those tubes untied and have some more! Great info.

While I definitely do NOT disagree with your stance on allowing God to determine family size, I think it would be very easy for some people to watch this video and completely misconstrue what a great deal of the problem is. (And I have read your blog for a while, and I don't think you have misconstrued it, but I just wanted to share this for anyone who's willing to read it.)

The tremendous growth in Islam is not due solely to the birth of exponentially more children into Muslim families; it is also due to youth, young adults, adults, and mature/seniors choosing to convert to Islam! I went to a major University, where it was not at all uncommon to see fair-skinned, blue-eyed women proudly wearing the hijab. The church of Islam is evangelizing and recruiting nearly as much as they are reproducing.

A second contributing factor to the bursting growth of Islam as a religion (and not just in numbers) is an area where many Christian families have really dropped the ball. Muslim families don't just go to a mosque: they ARE Muslim. They teach their children about Islam. They demand the right to interrupt their work and school days with prayer. They boldly act out their faith, even to the way they dress.

Whereas I feel like - and I speak from personal experience - many "Christian" families go to church (whether weekly or on high Holy days), but don't live every single moment of every single day like they ARE Christians.

We cannot merely attend church services and Bible studies and hope that it will "rub off" on our children - we must teach them diligently! We must believe, claim, and live what we learn in Deuteronomy 6: 1-25! I just want to highlight vs 6,7: "These commandments I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

I think too many Christians have become lukewarm; we have chosen political correctness, and the fear of offending someone with what we believe to be life-giving truth.

The issue is certainly one of numbers, but it would be so easy to watch that video and carry that too far, and live in a spirit of bondage to fear.

I don't think (as some comments have queried) that we ought to "convert" the whole world to Christianity. But I do think that if we love Jesus and have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior, then we ought to live, love, behave, and reach out as those befitting the honor of bearing the name of Christ.

The Gospel is a beautiful, life-saving thing! And we should hold the Gospel out to those around us. After all, we cannot by our own power convert anyone: it is God alone Who saves.

Now all that said, I'm all about some big families! Are you a Voddie Baucham fan? His "Centrality of the Home" sermon what was turned us around. People keep on assuming that we're done with children now that we have a boy and a girl, and seem baffled that we plan to keep going! No final numbers etched in stone for us. :o)

I wanted to ask, for those of us who call ourselves Christians, why would the question arise as to if we think the whole world should be converted to Christianity? Why does that thought frighten you? Did not the Lord Himself say to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Did He not say " For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Does He not desire that all be saved? We are not naive to think that all people will accept Christ, but we are told to go in the power of the Holy Spirit into all the world to share the truth. It is unfortunate to think that someone thinks that thoughts like this could be the reason 9/11 happened. Are you kidding? 9/11 happened because men driven by Satan himself hate us and hate the true and living God. They desire to pay honor to the false God they serve. If you do not believe in the God of the Bible we as Christians, will still love you and pray for you. We do not desire, like radical Muslims to destroy all who do not believe as they do. If you call yourself a Christian and follow the teachings of our precious Savior, then your desire should be to see the whole world come to Christ. God does not desire for any to perish. They will however, if they do not come to God by faith in Christ. Anyway, one day EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! How is that for conversion?

Mary F. said...

Debbie-- Why don't you re-read your comment? You do realize that you're saying that Christianity is the only valid religion, don't you? Do you have any idea how condescending, how judgmental, how hateful, and how hurtful that is? Religious fundamentalism--in ANY form--is dangerous.

I am Jewish. I am a homeschooling mother of 3. I teach my children to value the diversity in our world & to RESPECT others' beliefs. As much as you believe in Christ being the Son of God, I don't. So what? Who are you to be so rightous as to say I'm wrong? Maybe you are. Maybe we both are.

You really believe the whole world should be converted to Christianity? You want to eradicate me, my history, my faith, my God? Well guess what... that is no better than a fundamentalist Muslim who wants to do the same thing. You live in a country that above all, is based on religious & personal freedoms. Be thankful for that. Embrace the diversity in this world. If everyone did just that, we'd have much less conflict, much less war, and maybe a little more understanding for those on the other side of the world.

debbie said...

Mary, I do understand what a I am saying. It is the very same thing the Savior of the world said Himself. It is not hateful to hold to the belief that Jesus is the ONE and ONLY way to heaven. Just as I do not believe you hate me because I choose to believe something you don't. It does not at all cause me to hate you or anyone else who holds to a different view. Who said anything about eradicating you, or your faith or your God? Just because I desire that all men be saved though Jesus? Who is your God? If He is the God of the Bible, He is the true and living God. There is only ONE God. You are right one of us in the end will be wrong, but since the Word of God and the Old Testament in which you as a Jew would know the Old Testament, all point to Jesus as the Messiah. I will hold to what He says. The Jewish leaders of His day knew exactly what He was saying and He never backed down in claiming to be the ONE and ONLY way to the Father. Yet, He so loved them He paid the ultimate price on their behalf. You are free to believe whatever you like, and it does not mean that I would hate you or anyone else who does not believe in Him. It is just because we who believe in the truth of the Bible and see how all of the prophecy spoken of in the Bible has or is coming to pass before our very eyes, feel compelled to speak the truth in love. Knowing the claims of the Bible it will be horrible for those who reject the truth as God has revealed it to us in His Word. If for the sake of conversation, I am wrong about Jesus and His claims, then I will have nothing to lose in the end. But if those who chose not to believe in His claims are wrong, then they have everything to lose. Heaven or Hell really is the bottom line. I will stand with Jesus until the end, all the while loving my fellow man as He has called me to do. I know it may not be popular or politically correct to claim the He is the ONLY way, but from the mouth of God Himself it is the truth. He is the Great " I Am"

9/11 did happen because of thoughts like yours!!!!! People hate our country. People hate us. We cannot convert people to Christianity just because that is what WE believe in! You have every right to your religion and so does everyone else.

I have am close with a Muslim family and never, ever would I put them in the same category as you just did. That is just wrong. People should be able to see eye to eye while EMBRACING diversity. What do you think makes the world go round? Go watch the movie "Crash" and then see if your opinions change.

Debbie:
You've obviously read the bible and the "bottom line" you see is Heaven or Hell? I'm so sick of Christians who see THAT as the bottom line. The message of the bible is how we treat people, how Jesus treated people, how we can live our life to the fullest and live in the kingdom of God on earth. If you think the word of God was written to show YOU how to get to Heaven, you are completely missing the point. Mary is right, respect others and what they believe. That's what Jesus would do wouldn't He? Stop preaching the gospel and start LIVING it. OUR JOB INS'T TO CONVERT PEOPLE...our job is to love them and be an example, let God's light shine through us.

debbie said...

Well, again I must say what Jesus said. "Go into all the world and PREACH the gospel." Yes, I live the gospel with the help of my Savior, who said that without Him I could do nothing. No doubt about it, we all fall short and are sinners saved by His amazing grace. How can one be upset to think that the bottom line is Heaven or Hell. Make no mistake about it Satan, the enemy of your soul knows it is all about where you spend eternity. He is not about to give up without a fight. If it were not the bottom line then tell me why did Jesus die? Why did He not just simply come and show us all how to love one another and just see eye to eye with one another, embrace diversity? Do you think He embraced the religious leaders of His day without a challenge to their beliefs? Read the Bible and she what our loving Savior had to say to them and some of the nice things He called them. Why did so many of the disciples go to their death for their faith? Why do many today still give their lives for the gospel? They knew it meant Heaven or Hell. The Bible was in fact written to show us the way to the Father. On every page of the Bible it speaks of a Savior who will come to save us from our sins. The Bible is all about Jesus.I am sorry if that sounds unloving to some, but just the contrary. If you love someone don't you desire to share the truth in love. Truth is truth no matter what you believe. Absolute truth is found in the pages of the Bible, and if you don't believe God's Word it does not make it any less the truth. Jesus said " I am the way the TRUTH and the Life, no man comes to the Father but by Me." Does that sound narrow minded to you? Then I say your complaint lies with the Lord. Did Jesus ever back down from preaching the gospel or calling people to repentance? Jesus said that His message would cause divisions, that in would seperate even close family relationships. People will be divided over Him. The claims He made then were offensive to many, and they still are today. Did that make Him unloving to claim to be God in the flesh? Does it make me unloving because I claim to believe what He says to be true? As far as putting people into categories, I have not, but again it is the Lord who divides into categories. First, those who are born again, and those who are not. Those who are for Him and those who are not. Those who at the judgment, who are on His right and those on His left. Finally, those whose names are written in the Lambs book of life and those whose names are not found in the book. So again the debate is with the Lord. It is the true Christians desire for all to come to a knowledge of Jesus before it is too late, but we will love you no matter your choice. The one thing I choose to EMBRACE is the cross of Christ. Nothing to do with religion, all to do with a relationship with the ONE who bore my sins so I could live forever with Him in Heaven. The Bible tells us to choose this day whom we will serve, as for me I will serve the Lord. In the end He will be the only one who will judge me on how I preached His Word, and lived His Word, and how I let my light shine. I look forward to the day when He will make known His truth in all the world. He has the final Word in all of this.

You go on and on about the Bible as if it is the truth for all. The Bible is parables... perhaps inspired by God, but written by man. It is filled with inconsistencies, old-fashioned values of a time long past, not to the mention the fact that it has been translated hundreds upon hundreds of times in hundreds upon hundreds of ways. It was compiled by men who were trying to create a new church and unify a group of people. There had to be new laws & new rules for living in order for this new idea of a "Christian" church to be created--thus, the Bible was compiled by the original leaders of the church.

Don't hide behind the words of the Bible. That's cowardly and ignorant. The Bible's overall message is positive, sure--but let's not pretend it is the actual word of God. Because if that were the case, it would mean God provided you something filled with inconsistencies by which to live your life. I think God wants us to use our MINDS and our HEARTS to know the difference between right and wrong, not a 3,000 year old text (which, by the way, probably bears no resemblence to its original form in its original language).

Mary,
I agree with you completely. Live by what feels right in your heart. Sure, the Bible can be a guide, but it's not meant to be taken literally word for word for word...

Discrediting other religions makes one seem closed-minded and discriminates against others. I live my life as a Christian by doing what I feel is right in my heart and in my mind. I believe in treating all people equally even if they aren't Christian. That is why I have friends of all religions, races, and cultures.

Debbie, I hope you can open up your heart and see that there is more to life than making sure everyone is Christian. Otherwise, you are missing out on great opportunities for friendship.

Wow. Why did Jesus die on the cross? I won't claim to know the answer, but I believe it was to show us that we are to love eachother, love eachother so much that we would die for one another.

He told the people of his day to preach the gospel, you have to remember the context of when the bible was written! Have you read the book of James? Walk the walk, don't talk the talk!

The reason why it's upseting that the bottom line is heaven or hell is because it seems like no one is talking about how to live while we are still on earth. The kingdom of God is available to us now! When God said the kingdom of God is at hand, the term at hand doesn't mean it's coming soon...it means it is here now. I will be happy to spend eternity with the Lord, but honestly that is far less important to me than how I live my life here and now. The people I touch, loving the "unlovables" not just people that are like me, other Christians, the socially acceptable. Loving them so much that I would die for them, because I feel that it's right and good....not because it is getting me into Heaven.

And I love you too, and I know your heart is in the right place. I just think people can stop preching about getting to Heaven, and start living the way Jesus did. Start impacting the world now. Heaven shouldn't be the goal, it should be the reward for a LIFE well lived.

Read the Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard and any book by Donald Miller, REALLY! It's an eye opener for Christians.

Debbie is right on!

But I got to head on over to the city hall to pray:)
...Can I just say where are the "real" Christians? One's who know exactly why Jesus died...How can you claim to be a Christian and say you can't claim to know why Jesus died????
He did not die just to show us how to love he died to SAVE US FROM OUR SINS..I mean that is Christianity in itself John 3:16.

Sorry but I'm a Bible believing mama!

I've been following these comments, and have refrained from jumping back in, but I just wanted to share my heart to the commenters (anonymous and named alike) who seem upset or offended by all of this.

First, there is such a thing as absolute truth. God and Jesus say "I AM," not "I AM one of several." Something cannot be left and right at the same time; something cannot fall up and down at the same time. Either something is true, or it is not. When people start dabbling in "relative truth," it's a very dangerous slope. If there is not absolute truth, then there is no truth at all.

Second, it breaks my heart to hear someone speaking of Christianity as "eradicating" Judaism. Christianity does not eradicate or nullify - Christianity is the fulfillment of Judaism, because Jesus was the fulfillment of the prophecies. I personally want to re-incorporate the Jewish high holidays into our family celebrations, because it's our heritage as believers. The ways that God rescued His Israel in the old testament are still great and miraculous things to be celebrated!

Third, it is not closed-minded, hateful, or offensive to say the above 2 statements. I have many friends who follow different religions, ranging from Islam to pagan earth religions, as well as friends and family members who are agnostic or even 100% atheistic. I love them deeply, and treat them with respect, honor, and dignity.

But do I believe that they are lost apart from Jesus Christ? With all my heart, because that's what Jesus Himself said.

I love my un-believing friends and family members, and I show them that I love them in all I do, but that love does NOT mean that I pander to their religious beliefs. Nor do I harp the Gospel at them every chance I get, because I've been on that side, and it's positively the most aggravating and least effective way to witness your faith to someone. But I do show them the Gospel in the way that I treat them, the way that they see me treat others, the way we raise our children, and - with hope and prayer - I share the Gospel with them in words in opportunities that the Lord God orchestrates. And He does. And when I do it in a respectful way, in God's timing, the discussion is just that, and not an argument. And then I find my friends returning to ME, asking me more questions about what the Gospel really means. This is not to say that I can "save" or convert my loved ones: it is God alone Who saves. But I am grateful for the opportunity to be a "seed sower."

To say that there is absolute truth, and that Christianity is the only thing that fits the bill is not hateful. And really, most other religions - when you get down to the fine print - say the exact same thing.

So why do Bible-believing women who share their hearts in blog comment land get labeled as hateful, when all around the world Muslims are holding guns to people's heads and knives to their throats demanding that they proclaim allah to be the only god?

I know many serving as missionaries in places that they cannot even name. One man I know had holes drilled - with an electric drill - into the bones and arms of his legs for every single muslim-born person that had accepted Christ under his ministry. Forty-one. They held a knife at his throat for over 48 hours, slowly sawing back and forth every hour, demanding that he release the names of his parishioners. So that they could go and do the same to them. So that they could murder these people who had accepted Christ.

And peaceful, Bible-believing moms who are training up our children in the fear and admonition of the one true Living God are hateful? Please - I am beseeching you with all respect to get some perspective.

Finally, about it all coming down to an issue of heaven and hell. Well, I don't think that the bottom line is heaven v hell, OR the way we live here on earth. Check out the Westminster Shorter Catechism's VERY FIRST QUESTION:

What is the chief end of man?
A - Man's chief end is to glorify God, AND to enjoy him forever.

So isn't that pretty obvious? We are to glorify Him with our lives, AND we are purposed - created - to spend eternity with him. And God's Word (which I won't even touch the argument about inconsistencies and different translations, because that's an issue of faith, and faith is a gift of the Holy Spirit), tells us over and over again that the only security that we have in enjoying Him forever is through His Son, Jesus Christ. And God's Word - both testaments - point to Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah. Over, and over, and over again.

But this last thing it what I really wanted to share. There's a quote by CS Lewis that said, "If I find in myself a desire that no experience in this world can satisfy, the only explanation is that I was made for another world."

Have you ever felt alone? Despair? Heartache? Homesick, even when you were home? We were not made to spend eternity here on earth - it is not our home.

I was thinking about this last night. It had been a wretched day on all accounts, and I was lounging on the couch, pondering over the day and talking to my Abba Father. It suddenly struck me how despondent I would be if there were no place where I would be free from the struggle of my sin. No place where I could refuge completely, and worship freely. No place where I could escape the horrid and ugly sinfulness in the world that we inherited from the fall. No place where I would not live with pain and sickness, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.

How could anyone ever live with any hope at all, if there were no Hope of eternal life in Heaven?

How could anyone ever live even with that Hope if they did not know that they did not have to - could not - earn it, but that they had security because of the sacrifice by Jesus Christ?

Thanks for reading - I know this is long. If anyone wants to comment on anything I've said, please be sure to read my entire comment carefully. Grace and peace to you.

Lauren,
May God Bless you and thank you for your post. I agree with you. I like you have many friend of different beliefs and backgrounds and love them dearly. I know that on post said I am probably missing out of friendships, but I am blessed with many friends and family members with lots of different views. You are right we are created fo His good pleasure and to bring Him glory. What I meant by the bottom line being Heaven or Hell, is that without Jesus and the precious price He paid for us at Calvary, we would be lost and on our way to Hell. Because of Him we can enter Heaven. That is why He came, not merely to show us only how to love, but as He Himself said, "To save His people from their sins" It will be good to meet you in Heaven.

I am a follower of the ONE TRUE & LIVING GOD, JESUS CHRIST, a husband to one, and a father to three, : To those standing up for their faith, I encourage you to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our work is not in vain in the Lord.
As I sit and listen to my wife reading the many comments and different perspectives it is difficult for me to not be consumed by passion and emotions...as someone mentioned james-he did not say do not speak, but to be mindful of what we are saying: with that, this will be short and to the point...
a brilliant man once said "facts are stubborn things."
If you only read one more part of this: this is what I beg of you, that we no longer be a nation that decides what is true or false, that we do not determine what is good or what is bad, what is right or what is wrong based upon how well it is presented. If we are called to study and show ourselves approved in regards to the scriptures how much more the rest of life...((the cause of 9/11, authenticity of the scriptures, etc...))

You must turn on your brain!!! When we recieve mans opinions as facts because we like the way it makes us feel we have wandered far from what is actually true.

Someone mentioned we should do what seems right in our hearts...have you ever considered what you are endorsing? Though one mans heart may be lead to feed the hungry, house the homeless, defend the defenseless, ANOTHER mans heart is lead to murder, steal, rape & deceive. According to your argument neither is wrong and we should support both decisions 100%. and embrace their diversity. Perhaps we now understand why Jesus said our hearts can be deceitfully wicked.

As for 9/11...
Do muslims and Christians want the world to see things their way?
Yes, the difference is that in Islam it is submit or die... seize and destroy. It is to conquer the world, not convert the world.
Christians are told to exalt another higher than themselves, that we should be known by our love for one another, and that we are to love and pray for our enemies. To compare the two and say that they are equal is either ignorant, or insaine...I am not sure which is worse.
FINAL THOUGHT: Who gets the final say? who gets to say what is right, or wrong, what is good and what is bad, just or unjust? may i suggest it is GOD. Isaiah 40: tells us of a God who raises up nations and pulls them down, sits far above the circle of the earth & has streached out the heavens like a curtain. To whom then shall we liken Him, or to whom shall He be equal?

Lauren-- I'm sorry, but I can't agree with your main premise that there is "absolute truth." In religion, there simply isn't. Or actually, to put it a better way, there probably is an absolute truth in religion. But NO ONE CAN KNOW WHAT THAT TRUTH IS! Why does Christianity have to be the absolute truth? Because the Bible says so? Who says the Bible is God's word of truth? You BELIEVE it to be so. That is your faith, your religion, so it is YOUR truth. Not mine. Sorry.

Nor do I believe the Bible is the "word of God." I believe it is divinely inspired, but clearly written by man. To me that means, that we can use it as a guideline, but not as an "absolute truth." That's just dangerous. And it's exactly what fundamentalist Muslims use to justify their violence. They take the words of the Koran OUT OF CONTEXT, say it is the "word of God", and crash planes into buildings.

Also, I just want to say that I would NEVER compare the ACTIONS of Christian evangelists with those of fundamentalist Muslims. No one would argue that flying planes into buildings or torturing missionaries is acceptable. HOWEVER, I stand by my belief that fundamentalism in ANY religion is a dangerous concept. It inevitably leads to hatred & bigotry, no matter how loving the message might be. That is not a lack of perspective on my part... I raise my children to BELIEVE that Judaism is the truth. However, that does NOT mean it is or should be the truth for everyone. A Christian mother teaching her children that accepting Jesus is the ONLY way is actually teaching her children that everyone else is sinful. Why not try telling your children that Christianity is OUR way, but that others find equal fulfillment in their own beliefs. That is no less valid.

Finally, I just want to say that I do not believe that Christianity is the "fulfillment" of Judaism. Our Messaiah has not yet arrived.

Mary,
Thank you for being the only other realistic person to post here. Everyone else seems like they've been brainwashed.

First of all, I wrote about doing what I feel is right in my heart because I know I am a good person. I have been blessed with so much in my life and I give back to others to show my appreciation. I am living my life to its fullest and that can be seen in my strong relationships with family and friends, my devotion to education, and in my every action. I DO NOT believe that someone could ever feel that it is right in their hearts to murder, cheat, steal, or rape. I believe that those issues are deeper than "feeling what is right in your heart." Those issues in most cases, have to do with serious mental disorders and should not be put in the same category or even compared.

Why do you people feel the need to say your religion is better than someone else's? That is YOUR choice, YOUR decision, and those are YOUR beliefs, but they aren't everyone's. This is why I get frustrated being a Christian. I am not out to convert the world. I am simply living my life to the fullest and I also happen to be a believer. BUT NEVER would I put down someone else's beliefs like some of you have. Mary is entitled to believe in her religion and so am I, but I am not telling her that MY religion is the only truth. That is just plain IGNORANCE!

The only way I can see ridiculing someone is when they get so wrapped up in their beliefs that it causes violence, like 9/11. I am sure you all remember that day. How it felt, near or far. I have friends who lost family members that day. I will never forget. But I also won't generalize the whole Muslim world for something that happened. I've said it once and I'll say it again. Watch the movie "Crash." I feel like some of the feelings some of you are posting here might be issues rooted deeply in other areas. Like issues of racism and even politics.

Whats so bad about muslims? You believe in a god. They believe in a god.

One of you could be right, the other wrong. Or you could both be wrong.

Because ultimately the bible was written by a bunch of bearded dudes, and so was the Quran.

Why don't you start hating on the buddhists, who don't believe in a god at all?

How arrogant to say "where are the real Christians?" How unbelievebly "un-christianlike" too. The reason why I don't claim to KNOW exactly why Jesus died is because I am not God, His ways our higher than ours and to claim to KNOW anything is simply arrogant. After all He did say His ways are a mystery to us, should anyone try and boast.... There is only our interpretation and what we BELIEVE to be right in our hearts, based on what we read in the bible. So who are we to judge Muslims, Jews or anyone else? And how dare you judge who is or is not a "real" Christian. Think about it.

This is what Anonymous said...

Wow! I can't believe that Mary and Anonymous are so judgemental. Its like people oppose Christianity want other people to be able to serve any god but the True God.

KUDOS to Mary and Bridget for standing up for Truth and Righteousness. You know what is right and True.

Do not be swayed by the deeptive toungue of the devil and his desire to see us have doubt.

Those who have opposed what you have said do not have the Holy Spirit dwelling with in them and cannot discern truth for themselves. We can certainly pray for them, but we cannot argue with them. They just do not understand, and will not by words alone.

Stay strong and keep your faith!!

You are mighty warriors for Christ!!

God bless-
Amanda

Excuse me, Amanda... I'M judgmental?? This coming from someone who just said that their way is the ONLY way in a response to a post from someone who said they wanted to eradicate all other religions? Can you please tell me your definition of judgmental? Because I believe I'm the one who said all religions should be respected.

Mary,
I think no matter how much we try to explain, they won't understand. Just know that there are other Christians out there who do NOT think like them. I do not believe you are judgmental. You are fair, you embrace diversity, and you are respectful of other people's religions.
Thanks!
