I think I'll just lay here and pray that my husband kids and pets can all take care of themselves...Mom's out sick!
As I lay here typing I am in pain. I have been in bed since 6:30 last night. I just got up and it's almost 1pm. I threw out my back (gosh, I'm getting old) or just having this many kids really puts a strain on your body. Then on top of that I had a fever due to a breast infection. I am feeling really out of it. Everyone is at the baseball field right now and I am home alone. I just got a text from my mom that Austin hit the ball into the outfield for a great double. That just makes me feel even more guilty for not going. I should of just sucked it up and went. I am hoping I will be feeling back to normal by tomorrow or sooner. It's hard being a sick mommy! I did get some good news I came in second for the awesomest homeschool blog I didn't even know I was up for it...thank you to whoever nominated me and whoever voted for me. Makes me feel a little better:)
Have a good weekend..I'm off to sleep again (I don't think I've slept this long in years!!!!!!)

Sometimes you have to take care of you first to take care of others!! If you have mastitis make sure you are getting ALL the infection out. If you need some tips, let me know. My first thought when I saw your title was, "Really! I'll be right over to help you up!... It'll only take me two days to get there...lol!" Makes you think what if someone really did do that and put out a plea for help on their blog? Anyway, I am a bit silly.... really try to take care of you, so you can be there for the next big thing in you kids' lives!! There are so many everyday great things that we see our kids do and it is okay if we miss something... sometimes. And it's only sports! You get all the good stuff like first words, first steps, first reading, first hugs, and even "first letting gos" can be a blessing. Think how proud he is gonna be to come in and tell you all about it!!! That is a great first.. hearing his story and his excitement about it! He'll be able to tell you love him by the look on your face. Hope this helps you "get up"!... when you are feeling better.....
NOW GO GET IN A SCALDING HOT BATH AND GET THAT INFECTION OUT!!
Ah yes. Mommy guilt. Even though you have not had this much quiet time to yourself in 3.2 years, you still feel guilty for not being with your kids every second.
I am familiar with this feeling.
I have no idea how to stop it! All I know to do for you right now is pray!
Many blessings!
Amanda
Get some rest so you can get better quickly. Us mom's aren't allowed to be sick. I just came back from my curriculum fair to which I've been sick the whole time. I could barely function on what the speakers were saying. Atleast I was able to pick up MFW ECC. YAY!!!
Mastitis!!!!is the worst thing EVER!!!FORGET LABOR PAINS AND SLEEP DEPRIVATION!!!! I AM PRAYING FOR YOU, SISTER!!! Golly! And your back is out too boot. What an AWEFUL situation. :o) Rest! Let the family have fun...sometimes we get ill, I think, because we push ourselves too hard....expect too much of ourselves. Sorry you have had such a difficult week. I will sing to you, like I sing to my kids when things don't really go the way that we want...."There's always tomorrow, for dreams to come true....believe in yourself come what may. There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true...and just so much time in a day. We all pretend the rainbow has an end, but we'll be there again some day. There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true. Tomorrow is not far away. There....You feel better? :o) Well, it works for my kids. :o) I know...kinda korney....But, I bet that it made you smile. :o) I will be praying for you to get better. And, thank you for your sweet comments today!
