Don't Let The Flag Fool You!

Every Mother's Day I put out this cute little flag my kids got me...

It's looks so cute with my white picket fence and all my roses in full bloom. But....I'm pretty sure I have the neighbors laughing at that! As they knock on the door and inform me I have two escapees, then have a good laugh at me as I chase my half naked messy faced kids with full loaded diapers, (baby in hand and dog biting at my ankles) down the street. I can see them rolling their eyes at that flag that flaps in the wind that is placed outside my house. I'm sure they have been tempted to take it down when they hear yelling from the inside of the house too.

Another Supermom moment!

p.s. check out the dirty feet, that just proves I have clean floors!

That's pretty funny. I need to bring over #2 Mom lives here. Cause we all know I'm the #1 Mom after dealing with Aven last night. haha

I it nice to know that not all mom's are perfect and are not too afraid to be real! That does make you perfect in itself, ya know. Kids need the innocence of all that... I love dirty feet and half naked kids running around and kids are so much happier when they can have those moments. I would love to say that I don't have that soggy diaper issue, but guess what? My little guy is packing an extra 2 pounds in his as I sit here!! Eeeek! I admitted that and yes, he is gonnna be in it a few minutes longer while the baby nurses and I put her down. Yep, it stresses me sometimes, but I am only one person and he is not bothered. Why should I panic about it.. oddly, it is even cute!! I know... I know... gross!

LOL I love it!

I think what Brianna said would be funny tape #2 over the #1 and everyone would be laughing so hard.

In the end all that matters are your kids and they said you are #1 so you have the right to hang it! (he-he)

It just shows you're human and your kids get to enjoy life, even if they escape from time to time! :) Hey dirty floors, pshh...says your playing with your kids, teaching them, vs worrying about constantly cleaning!

We are #1 MOM's in our kids eyes because they have only ONE mom that will wipe their little tushies every day, clean up all thier big messes, kiss and pray for all their owies, and put them in check when they need it. I personally wish I had an inerr-calm in my home. We have upstairs downstairs. And I have to yell for everything.
But truly, I have one I'm nursing, another attached to my leg, while I'm yelling at the oldest to drag another to me all at the same time as the phone is ringing and I'm tripping over toys. Thanks for being honest at times. It helps us all laugh together.

Love,
Nettie
