Don't Blink (even when your sleeping)

After bath(bucket) time

The kids and I spent some time snuggling

and acting silly

I even let them jump on the bed

and got them all wound up

until Daddy told us to settle down

so we sat down for some more snuggle time

then Daddy told us to get in bed

so we all pretended we were sleeping with fake snoring

sounds and all

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Daddy didn't fall for it.

He knows when Mommy

is really sleeping she sleeps

with her

eyes

open!

Freaky I know!

But,

I'm just keeping am eye on everyone:) HA!

I'm surprised you let your kids wear clothes with peace sign all over them. Did you know a peace sign is actually a broken cross?

ok, the sleeping with eyes open is downright freaky. But hey, at least you don't drool like me. I think that's wayyyyy worse! lol

It is based on the semaphore letters for N and D, for Nuclear Disarmament. It may have been used as an anti-Christian symbol just as the rainbow is used as a sympol for gay pride but we know that it is really a sign of God's promise!

Cute PJs! Those are my favorite nights, snuggle time after a bath in pajamas ;)

PS I'm glad I'm not the only one who sleeps with their eyes open. Lol.

...Peace Signs...Christmas Trees...Easter Eggs...

They mean Peace, Christ's Birth, and Christ's Resurrection to us!

I think they look adorable, and I think your Blog is great!

We have to be careful as Christians not to think too much about this kind of stuff. With Jesus' birth/death/resurrection, came the opportunity for us to CELEBRATE Him in everything and everyday. It's a good thing.

BUT...I know exactly what you're saying about Halloween. We did not go out Trick or Treating for the 1st time this year (after 12 years of going). It was a conviction we had been feeling as well. We did pray about it, and felt led to stay home with our Brownie Sundaes and play a game of Twister...next year, who knows, we may dress the kids up and go, we may not.

Keep on blogging, your husband is right, there's too much good in it to stop.
