The Next Tim Tebow!

We are so proud of you!

Proud greats!

At the end of the season they pick players from different cities to make up a team to play in the All Star game.

Austin got picked to play Quarterback. Cities from the East played cities from the West.
They had High School football players from Rio Prep school coach the teams.
I love watching Austin play...
especially under the lights with an announcer and all!
Brings back memories for me and my husband.

Warming up......

Aut in his All star uniform #9 calling plays...

Go EASTSIDE!
tackle...

playing corner....

holding for the p a t!

It was such a close game. Pressure was on!

talking with a linemen from Arcadia

I over heard some lady in the stands say," that little QB #9 sure takes his time, thinks and takes control of the team. He's a good player." I couldn't help but smile.

coaches...

running the ball......

They lost 6 to 8...

but this sweaty lil guy gave his all!

For those of you who don't know who Tim Tebow is, I posted this back in 2007. He was a homeschooled missionary boy. Awesome story. His mom helped pass the Tim Tebow bill which allows homeschoolers to get college scholarships for sports etc. He is a great roll model!

this is so sweet! i love it. my 8-year-old plays soccer (would rather play football, but the games are always on sundays during church:( ) anyways, he loves tim tebow, and every game he puts a different bible verse on a piece of athletic tape and puts it on the sleeve of his jersey...since they don't wear eye black! :)
great pictures!

Who's Tim Tebow? There was a time I followed football, but it's been a dozen years. My husband played in HS was All Suncoast and played in college. Our oldest son is like Mr. Monk, needless to say he will not be playing football. When his dad was trying to get him interested in the game a couple of years ago by having him watch some on tv our son's response was, "If the guy with the ball gets tackled by everybody, why doesn't he just get rid of the ball?" He just doesn't get it. He's a great swimmer, though:) Congrats for Austin!

Awesome! Go Austin! And go mom! What an incredible son you are raising! I would have smiled so big too if I had someone say something so wonderful about one of my children! You are doing a great job! Here's a {{HUG}} and pat on the back [[PAT]] for you!

This is AWESOME!!! I think I must have missed this post?! But I love Tim and the impact he's made to academia and athletics.

I hope Austin does the same :)
