Put Another Sticker On The Map......

(We have actually added 2 more stickers to the map,I'm just a little behind.)

We stopped in Mobile, Alabama. We stayed at a camp site next to a lake.
I did some laundry in the coach. (It's small) so Daddy went and did some of the bigger stuff inside the laundry place on site. Yes, you heard me DADDY did some laundry! See, this is working out pretty well so far!

I went from doing TONS of loads a day to doing just 3 or 4 a week! LOVE IT! Nothing wrong with turning underwear inside out is there? Just kidding! We may not look as cute but hey, this is life on the road! We got to do with what we have on board.

For example...
Being that I didn't have rollers, I cut up a pair of Farrah's socks and rolled her hair....

and the next morning......(looks like she stuck her finger in the socket)

We are learning to live simple!
Work with what we got and improvise!!!
We are in Georgia as I type this...
Kids went cotton picking this morning (in Georgia) in their pj's. Then we read about Eli Whitney. Perfect for our history lesson.
School is awesome! We put aside our curriculum for the past couple of weeks just because we have been doing so much "road schooling" aka, learning as we go! We have learned so much life learning that you can't get in a book. We plan to pick back up and get back on track with our MFW curriculum Monday. But will continue on with our "road schooling" and JR. Ranger programs for science. I know just going to DC should cover history:)
(thank you for all your tips)
You guys are awesome. I love that we have a support team:)

My kids are loving learning and so are we right along with them:)

See you in Florida........

What's your MFW curriculum? I'd love to hear about what you are using.

Yes ... that Road Schooling is the BEST. That's how we started our school year this year.

Hi Bridget,
I am so happy for you. The last time I saw you, you had just come up with the (Lucy & Ethel) idea of hitting the road in an RV. I remember you were so excited about the idea yet so uncertain if it was a good idea. Well look at you now. You trusted the Lord and now He is blessing you with the wonders of this world He created. Good for you. I miss you and I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels! Love, Hannah
