The Only Child......

For a day!

Landen will be 5 next week and we thought it would be special for him to spend a day with his Mommy and Daddy all to himself!

at Legoland!

We spoiled him!
(a lot easier to do when you only have 1 child! ha!)

He is all about Lego's now days!

I love 1 on 1 time with each of my kids....

very rare, but I love it!

Thank you to Aunt Brianna for taking 2 kids and for Great Grandma and Grandma for taking 2!

It was fun to just give all our attention to Landen and do whatever he wanted to do...
even get very WET! We all acted like kids...so fun!

Landen got this poor old man right in the face:( ha!

I had a button I could push to splash them when they came around...

Love the look on his face!

It was neat to see all the places we have traveled to made out of Lego's!

Hi Five Dad!

We love you Landen Troy
you will always be our special boy!

So fun! We're hoping to make it to Legoland this summer. My 6 year old is a Lego maniac and can't wait to go. : )

What a great day!! I love one on one time with my kids too. I only have 3 girls, but it still doesn't happen as often as I'd like. Your post inspires me to try to get more it that in this summer!

I've been reading over your posts and really enjoy your blog. You have a wonderful family. I know it's hard to get one on one time with our kids when we have a large family. It looks like a very special day!
Blessings,
Marcia

So so so so so cute! I love the picture of him swinging in-between you two. Congrats on getting him to age five. I know he's your wild one :) My wild boy - happily four years old - just did a face plant on the asphalt and ended up with rock pieces in his face and everything :( He LOVED Legoland, though!!! He wanted to play that firetruck thing all day long!

Did you see the Fire Safety show there? "Put the wet stuff on the hot stuff and put that fire out!" We went last month and that song's still in my head.

Looks like a fun birthday! My kids loved Legoland.

Now that we've got our RV, we're going to test it out on our first road trip. We're only going to cover 3 or 4 states, but are very excited about going to the creation science museum in Kentucky and the Children's museum in Indianapolis. We're also going to Branson on the way there or way back. You inspired us! I don't know how you stayed on the road for so long, but we're going to try for 10 days:).

What fun!! Lincoln (just turned 4) is just getting into Legos! It's kind of fun having a boy to see come into this! :)

my kids just love that place. It's focused around a younger age group I think but so fun! Looks like he was loving every minute of that one on one time. Happy Birthday to Landen. Love that little guy!
