Dude, Your Homeschools Showing Part 3

Here we go screaming Homeschool Roadschool! Remember when we dressed as cows for our Chick-Fil-A field trip or how about when we wore tie dye, puffy paint t-shirts (all matching) to the pumpkin patch.
Yep, were nerds! Yesterday we wore matching road shirts......
(Landen's going to be the next Jim Carey, I just know it)

We even took it a step further and wore our road jackets! Watch out!

We finally got all the badges sewn on....

The kids are really proud of them! I kind of wish I had one ha! Ok, that would really be screaming homeschool!!! Farrah just has a vest, because she can't really do the Jr. Ranger program and Finley doesn't have one:( I think I'll make them something else as a memory of our trip for her. Not sure what yet?

We went on a little hike.....

and were running all around.... praying we don't get poison oak after finally seeing this sign...

So we grabbed our partners hands and finished the nature hike.

We read books......

and our favorite part of the day was the butterfly house:)

Finley loved all the butterflies......

Different butterflies flying everywhere.....

We pointed out all the different kinds......

We can't wait to add more badges to the road jackets......

That's awesome. We sometimes "scream" homeschool too. Like the other day when I had another homeschool mom over for coffee and we had six kids in the tree in our front yard (two were "trimming" the tree with pocket knifes). I just knew our neighbors must have been saying "ohhhhhhh homeschoolers" *sigh*

And be ye not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~Rom.12:2

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. ~Mt.5:13-16

-Dude, your Homeschool is SUPPOSED to be showing ;)

I love the sound of your little homeschool screaming. What fun. And I don't see a sullen grumpy face in the bunch.

I always love going to the butterfly house and spending time there. They are so fun to watch.

SO CUTE! ;) You could TOTALLY make Finley a quilt as a reminder of the trip- use those picture transfers onto different outfits she wore during that size- u can make it cute! :) I'm sure of it!! Miss u!

We have collected a patch from everywhere we've visited this year and they're all (well, almost!) sewn onto blankets - they love them (and I wish I had one too, LOL!).
