First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all my friends out there!
I am getting a little Mother's Day break and thought I'd pop in to say hi!
This blog is such an outlet amidst the lovely chaos that surrounds me:)
It's nice to visit with you and read your comments...
I know my posts are pretty irregular lately, I just desire to never neglect my husband or children in order for me to post. These days seem so busy it's hard to fit blogging time in too.
So thanks for still checking in with us once in awhile:)
I know it's Mother's Day and I'm still posting on Easter, oh well.....
Here's the kids on Easter Sunday. I always make sure to stop and get a quick picture of the kids because I know if I wait until after church I will forget and everyone will be a mess by then.
What a slacker Mom I was this year...
No matching outfits!!!!!
My older three were thanking God I didn't torture them in trying to make everyone matchy matchy..
I just made sure everyone had their hair combed, teeth brushed and some what well groomed:)
They each picked a flower from the backyard to decorate the cross at church...
It was so cute to see all the little kids walking into church with their little flowers excited to put them up on the cross.
My Mom and sisters took the kids for us for the night a couple weeks ago. We went out on a date and enjoyed some alone time.
My sisters even watched the kids for me the next day.
I went shopping for the baby and got a few things. It was such a nice day and I was so amazed at how many things I can get done. I felt like I could conquer the world when I woke up. ha!
I'm glad my kids were
entertainment for them as well. Here's a video I was sent while out shopping. LOL!

So, I'm 6 months (already)...look about 16 months :0
Not a big surprise to me. I always gain more than the average 20-30lbs they say you should gain. I had my doctors appointment a couple days ago and everything with the baby is looking great! She's growing healthy and cooking up nice in there:)
My doctor seems more worried about me getting my tubes tied than anything else. It's almost ridiculous how much both the nurse practitioner and my doctor push it. I've told them over and over that my husband if anything will be the one to get a vasectomy. They insist I get my tubes tied so that they know for sure I don't get pregnant again. I am waiting to see how my scar tissue is on delivery day before making any decisions.
The nurse told me that she just treated a lady last week that is pregnant with triplet boys after her husband had a vasectomy, when they tried to encourage her to have her tubes tied with her last c-section. I just looked at the nurse with a smile and said, "wow, what a blessing!"
I mean really, God must have wanted that lady to have 3 more boys! ha!
She looked at me like I was crazy then changed the subject and had to remind me about how much weight I gained in the last month...
I so wanted to tell her it was because I just got back from this amazing cruise and ate all this wonderful food.
Really though I have no idea how I gain so much. I'm really trying not to focus on myself. Yes, take care of myself and have a healthy pregnancy but not worry so much. The enemy sure likes to attack me in this area and steal my joy by focusing on my "looks" and I'm not going to allow that!
Why do I have to be so vain?!
My husband still makes me feel beautiful...so that's all that matters, right?:)
My Mom and sisters took the kids for us for the night a couple weeks ago. We went out on a date and enjoyed some alone time.
We are still trying to decide on an "F" name for our new daughter.
Our problem is agreeing on a name.
So at dinner, The Macaroni Grill where you can write on table clothes we listed a few "F" names and then our waitress gave us her opinion. Then she told other waitresses and busboys to come by and give their vote too. It made for a fun date.
Our waitress thought it was so cute we were out to dinner trying to come up with our new baby daughters name. She went on and on about how neat it is to be a Mommy and how much fun girls are...you should of seen the look on her face when I said, "this will be my 4th little girl!" She said, "Wow, really!" Then I went on to tell her that I had two boys as well.
We love our bragging privileges:)

My names Fayra ( pronounced fay-ruh). Lol... cant think of any others at the moment :0)
I just ran across your blog. May I say that I've gotten my tubes tied after 4 c-sections and regretted it immediately so much I paid out of pocket to have a reversal (not an easy thing to do). Please, please consider on this and don't just take a doctor's advice. I made that mistake and regret it every day. And they won't tell you about the complications from tubals either.

I like Felicity (Great Happiness)and Frances (Free One).
Fallon is pretty.... The Dr and The Nurse seemed to of crossed a line. 1 time is enough on the opinion. The procedure from Justin is less traumatic and invasive. Plus it's up to you not them.
I miss not seeing your post! Come back! :)
What about Fayln? Its pronounced fay-lynn. ;)
Oh my gosh Bridget that video is hilarious Farrah has some attitude lol where does she get her moves! SO cute. As for weight I totally understand I gain over the reccomended amount too. I eat so much and whatever I want when I am prego. I dont know how people only gain 20 lbs. Names I really Like Faylyn Felicity Fallon and Fawn. My good friend is named Fawn :)
I vote for Fallon!!!!
I vote for Fallon!!! We also liked the spelling Falen or Falyn.
what a great idea about the flower cross-- beautiful!!
Your family is such a blessing, and children are ALWAYS a blessing! Immediately after having a baby is no time to make a tube tying decision, and it's sad that docs and nurses don't recognize that.
Being open to life is a huge counter-cultural thing-- and that's what we are called to as Christian women. You are such a witness with this blog.
My 7 younger siblings are my biggest blessing in my life, and we have only been able to have one child-- I wish everyone could be as open to new life as you.
Happy Mother's Day!!

My $.02... I like Felicity and Fallon:) Glad you are feeling well and baby is doing great!
I like Floriana, which means flower in Romanian.
I got pregnant two weeks after I got married. Had baby #1 2006, #2 2007, got pregnant 2008, and had my third 2009.
I had three c-sections and tied the tubes after my third---not because I didn't want kids or as though three was enough--but because I felt like I could not handle another surgery. As we drove for the c-section my husband and I had an idea on what we will do, but we were not certain. One thing i was certain of was I did not want to go against Gods will. My doctor said my scar tissue looked great, and actually encouraged me to wait on it. I thought to myself, if I am going to go under the knife again to tie the tubes, might as well have another child. For me it wasn't the number of babies, it was my state of health. Two years later, I am still super anemic and iron pills and a 1/2 a cow we bought this year isn't helping. There are days I wish we had more, but I am thankful for 3. I am so open for adoption IF God wills.
Last month I went to a funeral of a lady who had 17 children. All by one man (they are christian) and had only 1 miscarriage. I personally know her children and all are super healthy.
So it's up to you and your husband and God. I wish you only the best God bless.
I really like Felicity, Fiona and Frances. Can't wait to hear what you pick!

I love your response to the nurse! You need a mormon doctor, they are used to women having tons of babies. ha ha
Hi Bridget,
If I had another little girl, which I won't ... we are done, I would of named her Fiona. I love the name and still call my youngest "princess Fiona"

How about Felicia!
Frances, felicia, finn, francesca, just a few i could think of :0)

Hi. I am a friend of a friend of a friend that suggested the name Finley last time. I love Fiona but the name Fiala has also grown on me in the past couple years (it's a little neighbor girl's name). Good luck!
Fiona and Felicity are both cute semi popular names. I also like Fayah, Faye, Ferika, and whoever mentioned Floriana is very cute too!
I think you having another baby is wonderful and you are such a great mom that I say have more :) If you want! :)
Don't let the doctors 'helping you with an opinion'...or worries about your weight attack you. Stand strong!!
Your family is so beautiful...can't wait to see a new bundle of JOY added!!
HI Bridget
I hope you had a wonderful mothers day!! I love the idea of the flower cross at your church & your children all look very nice - even without the matching outfits.
Please, please think really hard before going into anything permanent for birth control. We decided too quickly for Dave to have a vasectomy after the twins were born & we've regretted it so many times since. Praise God we were able to have a reversal recently & are praying for God's will in our family now. There are always drs who say you should do this or that, but remember they are just human & God is in control. My advice to anyone who is thinking of something permanent is to pray, pray, pray about it & also wait until bubby is at least 3 years old (because by then you would have had another baby) - if there is any doubt in that time don't do it.
Sorry long comment - it's something I am passionate about (you may have guessed that ;) )
My picks for girls names
Felicity & Fiora
Hope you have a wonderful week
Blessings
Renata:)
