We left San Dimas, Ca on Thursday July 8 and drove through Hollywood.......
played a little paparazzi........
Hey Marc, where's JLo?
He gave us a nice wave and took off in his Ferrari......... I thought it was Vin Diesel in the passenger seat but after looking at these pictures I don't think it is???? maybe???
I think I yelled, "Justin!" about a million times......
He tends to enjoy the scenery way too much when he's driving.
It was a beautiful drive though!
We stopped on the side of the road and made lunch.......
Woke up and headed to San Fransisco......It was freezing and foggy.....
but we got clam chowder to warm us up!
walked around fisherman's wharf......got a new badge to add to the jackets.
said hi to the Boudin Bread man......
took a cab around town(not sure if SF cab drivers are crazier than NY cab drivers??) Both crazy!

The crazy cab driver took us down Lombard St. the "crookedest" street in SF.
We enjoyed a fun filled day in SF and left by driving the RV over the Golden Gate Bridge......
Another big day ahead...you know what I mean.......Jelly Bean! (yes, I annoyed the kids by saying that all day ha!)

Day 2:
Jelly Belly Factory Tour!
we enjoyed seeing how Jelly Belly's are made and the history behind the company. We also enjoyed trying many different flavors.

The kids even dared each other to try some of these.......
Landen trying the "Booger".........ewwww!
We couldn't use our camera on the tour so here is our attempt at a picture with our factory hats on...a little awkward....
moving on...........
Faith came up with some good ones....Pancakes and Syrup flavor. Then for her gross flavor she thought of soap. That way when parents need to have their kids mouths rinsed out with soap they can just give them a Jelly Belly. Gotta love her ha!
We snacked on Jelly Belly's as we drove some more......FYI each Jelly Belly has 4calories. I had about 4,000 calories in just Jelly Belly's alone today!
But I think I hiked it off!

We stopped about an hour outside of Napa County. (Beautiful drive through Napa) Note to self: Go back without kids:)
Daddy pulled over on the side of the road and said, "all you rednecks put on your swimsuits!"Thanks for following along on our crazy adventure (again)..........

Are the girls sitting in car seats in that one picture, or is that something cool they sleep on?
I am loving following you. The Jelly Belly Factory looked like so much fun! I love Jelly Bellys!!!
Thanks for sharing!
I love seeing where you guys are going. You are living my dream. :) Be safe and have fun!!
Great pics! How cool that you got a pic of Marc! It looks like Vin to me in those pics.
Just me popping in to see what your family is up to. Fun times again!!

Laurel :)
Wonderful photos. I love following your family on your adventures. You have the cutest kids.
Blessings,

awwww those were all so precious. But that last one of your poor little sweetie with the bloddy nose broke my heart :( She is so cute, even when she's been bloodied and crying.
I just LOVE your blog! I hope my family can do something like this some day!!!
We visited the Jelly Belly Factory a few years ago - great time with the kids! i loved the Ronald Reagan mural made completely from Jelly Beans.
We are hoping to rent an RV for our trip back to MO and I noticed your two younger girls were in their carseats. Do they have to be in them while the RV is in motion? The reason for us wanting to rent one was so my kids wouldn't have to be strapped down for 20 hours. Thanks for letting me know. ediving@hotmail.com
Oh, and I don't think that is Vin Deisel.
thanks girls...
Here's a link on carseats.

we use the carseats for the 2 lil ones in big cities but when we are on the hwy they sit, sleep on the bed or play toys on the ground.
In cities everyone sits down and has to be quiet because it can get kind of crazy in here.
Nonny, those are their carseats:)
So excited to follow you guys on the road...I'm living vicariously through your trips on the open road!
What great pictures! I think what you guys are doing is wonderful! I would love to travel with my girls like this. Stay safe and many blessings to your family!

Yea! Have fun one part 2 of your trip. We loved seeing you while you are here, and I think it would be awesome if you ended this trip in San Dimas too :o)
Thanks for the update Bridget...question and I have to ask....how do they know what a "booger" tastes like....ewwwwww.....enjoy and be safe!
Such fun adventures! Have fun driving the West Coast. When you hit Seattle make sure you swing by Pike's Place Market ... The Space Needle ... Take a ferry boat ride .. Seattle Science Center, so much to do with the kids!
Also if you cruise in on a Sunday, we'd love for you to visit Eastlake Community Church in Bothell!!
Take it safe out there. ;-)
Hey, Hon!! So glad to see you're back on the road! :) I can't wait until you get up north a bit more to Oregon and Washington... We've always wanted to visit there! Prayers for safe travels...
