What Has My Life Come To....

I just wanted to start this post out by saying thank you to Maria(our maid) She has been so sweet in cleaning after our clan. I try to pick up a little before she comes everyday because this one room gets pretty bad with all of us. 7people a fish, a dog and a bearded dragon. This morning I picked up what I thought was a Lincoln Log off the ground, but eww it wasn't it was another kind of log. (A softer log) Gross I know, but this is the kind of stuff Maria has to deal with. Yesterday I gave her a big hug and tried to say thank you in my best Spanish. Which if you were in my high school Spanish class you know just how well I speak Spanish ha!

We now have 3 in diapers....

I just don't understand why people stare at us when we go for walks around the hotel. HA!

Last week we had all the Nascar people staying here at the hotel because of the big race in Fontana.

We got to eat breakfast with a lot of the Nascar people but I wouldn't of known if I was sitting next to Dale Earnhardt Jr or not because I'm not a Nascar fan. It did make it exciting for the kids to see all the different trucks and some of the cars.
One night the Fed Ex truck even backed into our car and what do you know we got a big dent in our side and some free t-shirts and goodies for the kids. Whooo Hooo! NOT!
So, here I am sitting in a hotel room wearing some guys racing shirt and blogging about poop.
But I got to go...
I have another starring contest to attend to and some route planning to do.

I'll be back on later to share about our time at the zoo. I was still nice enough to take my kids to the zoo even though Landen says I look like a boy with "lello" (yellow) hair! (like he has any room to talk about hair)

I'd think if I was Maria I would appreciate a tip rather than a hug. haha jk Yeah I'm pretty sure Jim Carey from dumb and dumber has no room to be giving advice on hair dos. ha

Bridget, a hug is the universal language for thank you :) You're too cute.

lol That is hilarious! Too funny about the hair... I love kids being kids :)

Just wake up and assume a different identity everyday to make things fun...it will help to mix things up. When I was stuck somewhere for awhile I would try to make it as fun as possible by creating a different accent or fake life. LOL weird I know but it made all of us stay sane for awhile :)

Okay, your dog is HUGE! When did that happen. Are you taking her on your trip? Im sure it's an adventure everyday in your hotel room but those make for some of the best memories :)
