Hello from our cozy little room....

I thought I'd check in while I wait in line for the bathroom...
You know 1 bathroom, 7 people (not that Finley uses the toilet) but still...
Our new place is cozy! We have a king sz bed, a pull out couch, two roll away beds and a crib. We also have a desk, kitchen table, fridge, stove, micro, dishwasher, toy box, book shelf, dresser and a bearded dragon(I think that's it?)...yep, it's cozy!ha!
Every morning we walk down to the reception area and have breakfast....
*pic taken with camera phone sorry for poor quality

We do a little school and head back to our cozy little room.
By this time the room is all clean stocked with clean towels etc....

This past week has been busy and full of change for us. So the fact that I don't have to clean or cook is nice.
We even get dinners M-Th:)

This is a picture I took of the kids in the doctors waiting room.

Between getting Faith's eyes check because she was having double vision and Finley's appts......
We spent a lot of time in doctors waiting rooms this past week.

Finley has a heart murmur so we had to get her blood work, xray, ultrasound and EKG. We go see a Cardiologist this coming week.

This is Finn with her little bear that sings "Jesus Loves Me." She would just snuggle up on it and squeeze it so she could hear the song... She is so sweet! She did good with all her tests. If you remember to keep her in prayer. Doc is just a little worried about the sound her murmur is making. And the fact that she is on the small side. (almost 19lbs at 14mo) Austin had a heart murmur when he was little but just grew out of it. We never had to do any tests. I'm not too worried, I know heart murmur's are common in babies. I just pray it's nothing.

Everything is going well for us. We have a few more kinks to iron out...
We should be in our "cozy" little room until the end of this month.(although I may not want to leave with all this pampering)

Now, If I can just keep the scissors away from Landen......

that and the permanent marker..
I'll be good!

I'll keep little Finley in my prayers...

And does this mean that the maids tidy up too!? I could so get used to that! :)

I'll keep Finley on my prayer list.
The suite life suits you. :) How do the kids like not having to make their beds every day?

Yikes.. I don't think he is going to be a barber without a lot of training! ;) Caden was born with a murmur and three holes in his heart (only one was in a location to watch), but he outgrew it. Even in it's worse-case-scenario it would only require antibiotics before dental work. I found it to be a good lesson in counting my blessings! I can deal with a little antibiotic issue even though we don't have to worry about even that now. I do not want to ever have to deal with more serious disorders than that. Thank you Lord!!

WOW! I love how positive you are being about this. I would be locking myself in the bathroom for a little break! How is naptime during the day? Does anyone get to nap? Enjoy your stay!

Will pray for your sweet little ones. What wonderful lessons you all must be learning about selflessness and patience in your cozy little room! I, too, am curious about naptime.

Please keep us updated on sweet Finley!

Hello-
I am a grade 11 home schooled student (have been home schooled since grade 1!) and for my English class I am writing a persuasive essay against abortion. Would it be okay if I used your title "Abortion is Not Health Care"? Thank-you,Sophia

And we too are VERY social!!! Almost too social if you ask me!

Praying for little Finley!

Four of our children have heart murmurs. Our second son has a very unusual heart murmur. He was under a cardiologists care until last year, when he was released. (Yay!) I know how scary it can be and it doesn't matter if it is fairly common, when it is your child then everything is different. I think that is a mommy's job.

Blessings to your family during this time of transition!
