I want to go to The Amish Country. They amaze me with their hard work. I feel so lazy when I read about their every day lives. Can't wait to see your pictures!
Amish Country:) I remember when we were in fifth grade and we went there:) I still can't believe we got to take that field trip across the country with a public school. That would never happen now:(
You asked awhile back where we would want to live. Well ... if I couldn't live on our little island off the coast of WA, I would love to live in Pennsylvania. It's BEAUTIFUL there. (We have relatives in Bethlehem.)
Shannon Hartz, yeah i didn't go on that trip, i got an ATC, what a deal huh. i guess that's why i am taking it now, kinda glad now cause i wouldn't have enjoyed it like i do now. and yes, schools would never do that now, that's why homeschooling was a great decision.
PA....One of our favorite places. The Amish look so healthy, huh? Are you smarter than a 6th grader? Lets see.... there are 2 different types of Amish in theis area can you tell us what they are?

Yes, Lancaster, PA! I think that was too easy, I will have to make it a little harder this week:)
Aunt Tammy, Is it the The Amish and the orthodox Mennonites? I must of made the kids interview many of them and that's what we found. The old Amish drive gray buggies and the orthodox Mennonites ride in the black ones:) Am I right?
Good ole Lancaster County, Pa! Any time my hubby go on a date we end up their.
